Decorating Pumpkins!

So this year we decided to decorate our pumkins instead of carving them. We found these potato head kits and thought they were perfect for our pumpkins. Ron got the old drill out and helped the kids drill the holes where they wanted their peices to go. Kaeryn was excited that she got to drill by herself. Kaeryn choose to have a witch pumpkin. Tristan choose to have a vampire pumpkin.

jaxen had fun watching his pumpkin come together. He thought it was a great toy. He choose to have a vampire pumpkin.

When Ron was finished helping the kids he started on our pumpkin which was a pirate. I of course was picture happy and took a gazillion pictures. I was having to much fun watching the kids have fun. The kids had fun playing with their pumpkins after they were finished.

They turned out so cute!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was alot of fun this year. Ron was able to have the day off so we all went trick or treating together. Kaeryn was a girl pirate. Tristan was an army man and Jaxen was a lion. They all had fun going out together. Tristan made sure that Jaxen was not forgotten as he told all the candy givers to give one to the lion please. It was very cute. Jaxen was more excited this year and he wanted to walk up to the doors all by himself. I was a witch and Ron dressed in a sports jacket and slacks and had a cardboard sign around his neck that said "2nd yacht foreclosing need bailout and taxbreak! Please help! God bless me!" Everyone got a kick out of that one and occasionally would give ron and I a piece of candy. We had a fun evening. We ended up in our old neighborhood so when it started raining and the kids decided they were done we went to visit our friends. We ended the night watching Harry Potter which is our traditon(we try to watch all the movies during the halloween season). I love our family. We have so much fun together!
