Jaxen opening his presents!

Jaxen was fun to watch as he opened his gifts. I had painted a table into a road way and all he wanted to do was play with his cars on the table. He was excited to get more cars and trucks and a thomas train and book. He loves his bob the builder movie and loved getting his own bike! It was a fun birthday! I can't believe Jaxen is now 2 years old! It amazes me how time goes by. I still look at him in amazement and I love him more everyday! That night Ron and I thanked eachother for a beautiful son! Happy Birthday Jaxen! We love you so much and love having you in our family!

Jaxen and his cake!

Jaxen loved his cake so much that he had to play with it before we could eat it. He loved driving Lightning Mcqueen up and down the road on the cake. It was pretty cute. He choose to have ice cream cones to go along with his cake. Tristan helped me to make the cake. We seperated the dough into bowls and then colored them a different color and then we dropped the different colors into the pan. It made a really fun cake that we like to call happy cake because of all the fun colors. It was so yummy! Jaxen loved it! He was having so much fun! And we were having fun watching him. Infact he was having so much fun that his cake and ice cream ended up all over him so Ron gave him a bath before he opened his presents.

Jaxen's birthday cake!

Jaxen love's the movie Cars so I made him a cake with Lightning Mcqueen. It's suposed to be a mountain sceen but my mountains ended up not being so big. Still it actually looked really cute and Jaxen loved it. We had a cars and trucks and trains theme for his birthday because those seem to be his favorite things.

Jaxen's first hair cut!

Last Saturday was Jaxen's birthday and we took him to get his first hair cut. He did not like it one bit and he cried the whole time. The beautician did a very good job considering that she had to keep up with Jaxen's wiggles trying to get away. He now looks like a little boy more than a toddler. We miss his cute curls but love his new look.
