Happy Anniversary to us!!!!

Yesterday Ron and I celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary. Wow! Has it really been 3 years already? And what wonderful years they have been. We celebrated by going to an inn this weekend. It was called the flower farm inn. It was so cute, each room was a little cottage. We were in the sunflower room. It was nice and cozy. I loved how private it was to. We want to go back sometime in the spring to see all the flowers in bloom. Then yesterday Ron left early as if he was going to work for the week. He surprised me by coming home a couple hours later with a boquet of pink flowers and steak for dinner. He had talked the client he's been working for into letting him work from home. I had no idea, it was a total surprise. I was so excited! Even though he still had to work, it was nice to have him home. I love you so much Ron! I look forward to all the anniversaries to come!

La La De Da La De Da

So jaxen has been so fun lately(well, he is always fun). He has learned a new skill that has been so fun to watch. He loves to watch Thomas the tank engine and Make way for Noddy. These last couple weeks i've noticed that when the opening songs would come onhe would start saying da da da. Then I noticed that he was trying to sing the melody. And he does get parts of it right on. It's so cute! He is really trying hard to communicate and it's so fun to see learn new things. he will also sing jingle bells. He's growing up so fast, but I love every day of it!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

So i know i'm really late for this one. Anyway. Happy New year everyone! Wow I can't believe another year has gone by. We had a very fun new year's party as a family. We let Jaxen stay up a little later than his bedtime, but eventually he was ready for bed. Kaeryn and Tristan had taken a nap during the day, they were determined to stay up until midnight. And that they did. We had yummy hot chocolate(made by Holly) and ham bread for dinner. Ham bread is a tradition in Ron's family. We had fun putting together a puzzle Ron had gotten for me and we played the game of life. It was alot of fun! We turned the T.V. on to watch the ball drop and to watch some of the festivities. The kids shouted the count down and we all cheered. We went outside and popped poppers(even though it was cold). We drank sparkling white grape juice. Then we did another venezuelan tradition. We each ate 12 grapes. One for each month of the year. You make a wish for each month and then you eat the grapes. Tristan made us laugh because he wished outloud. For every grape he wished for more Thomas toys. Of course more Thomas toys, who needs good health when you can have more Thomas toys to make you happy! We love you Tristan!
