Chocolate Strawberries!

So look how cute my husband is. Today I was surprised by this delivery from edible arrangements. Ron just wanted to tell me how much he loves me. I thought it was so sweet of him. It's cute because I call Ron my chocolate kiss and he calls me his strawberry. So to get a delivery of chocolate strawberries I thought was so cute! I love you too Ron! So very much! Thank you for the wonderful surprise!

Going on a Hay Ride

The great thing about this farm that we went to is that they had so much set out to do and it was all included. We were able to go on a hay ride. It was fun. only half the trailor had benches and the other half was all hay. We choose to sit in the hay. It was fun. they took us around the farm, we went up hills and down, fast and slow. Jaxen had fun throwing the hay around. The animals were cute as always and it was nice because we were able to see that there was more to see than what we thought. There was a coloring wall, a train, a playground, petting zoo. It was a very fun day. Jaxen had been asking to go to the "punkin patch" all week long. We were happy to find one that was not to far from our house.

Giant Pumpkin!

There was a giant pumpkin they had set out for you to sit on or just look at. Tristan was so surprised at how big it was.
one of these days I will get a tripod so that I can take an actual family picture instead of always splitting it up in two.
Tristan loved climbing on the big pumpkin. He couldn't get over how big it was.

Kaeryn wanted a turn on the pumpkin also. another fun thing at the farm.

The pumpkin patch!

This weekend we took the kids to a pumpkin patch. It was so fun and i'm so happy we did. The kids absolutely loved it! The farm had made a pyramid out of straw bales for the kids to climb on. Kaeryn and Tristan made it to the top. Jaxen wasn't to sure about it. He got up on the first level but that's where he wanted to stay. He needed time to get used to the feel of the straw.
Of course you can't go to a pumpkin patch without looking at pumpkins. Kaeryn looked and looked but decided on a white one.
Jaxen was so funny. he tried to pick up every one he saw. He finally choose a smaller orange one he could carry.
Tristan wanted to pick the the bigger pumpkins also. He was trying to find the perfect vampire pumpkin. He ended choosing a smaller white one like Kaeryn's.

The Sacramento Temple

Last weekend we went for a drive to the Sacramento temple. We actually haven't been there yet since we moved here so we decided it might be a nice afternoon. Our family hasn't been feeling all that well with one thing or another so instead of going on an activity weekend we went for a walk in the gardens. I've wanted to take some new pictures of the kids anyway. It was a nice day. That's one thing about the kids is that they love nature like Ron and I do and have just as much fun looking at nature. One thing they loved to see that was at the temple was the fountain. After walking around the temple gardens they thought ending it with the fountain was perfect. Kaeryn would walk around the entire fountain to see all the features she could.
Tristan was just having fun with everything!
Jaxen was so curious about the fountain. He would walk around it and try to touch the water. He was very amazed. It was a beautiful day. A nice way to have family time together and not over work our tired bodies.

Ridng their bikes

Tristan and Kaeryn love to ride their bikes. Kaeryn almost has it down. Ron was given the advice to take off the training wheels and lower kaeryn's seat and have her push along with her feet. That would help her learn her balance, which was something she was having a hard time with. That was the thing we needed to do for Kaeryn. She is learning and getting better at balance and can go a little ways on her own. Great Job Kaeryn!
Tristan loves his bike also. He has so much fun on it. he always has time though to stop and say cheeze when he see's me trying to take a picture.

Grandma and Grandpa Walker

Before they were on their way home, Grandma and Grandpa came to say good by. It was a really good visit. Kaeryn and Tristan were up at our house and they loved that they got to see grandma and grandpa. They showed them their bedrooms and previous halloween costumes and their favorite toys. Kaeryn and Tristan also loved the treasures that grandma and grandpa brought back from the mountains. They had so much fun telling stories and listening to stories. They were sad to see them go but were so happy to have been able to see them. Thank you so much Grandma and Grandpa for coming for a visit!

Stinson Beach

So My mom and dad came out last month for an impact retreat thing. They came a few days early so they could spend some time and visit us. One thing my mom wanted was to see the ocean. We went to Stinson beach. It's just north of San Fransisco. It was a beautiful beach and definitly worth the long wind around road that it took to get there. Jaxen of course loved playing in the sand and digging all around.
Grandma and Grandpa and Jaxen had so much fun playing together on the beach. Jaxen and Grandpa would run around and chase all the sea birds that would suround our spot on the beach. I tell ya they were the least fearful sea gulls i've ever seen. It was so much fun to watch Jaxen with his "Gumma and Gumpa". I love how he says it. It's just so cute.
Jaxen also had so much fun in the water with us. At first he didn't want to go in. He just wanted to play in the sand. But I was missing him so I came back and got him and took him to the shore with me. Once I showed him that he could dance and kick in the water he just went crazy and loved the water. We couldn't keep him out of it after that. He would hold our hands and try to take us further and further into the water. We actually had to hold him back. We would watch the waves come in and Jaxen would shout " Here it comes!" It was so great and so fun!
Ah the ocean. I don't think I will ever get tired of looking at it. It's just so beautiful and peaceful
and wonderful. It was a beautful day at the beach.
