Grandma Snuggles!
The week that Jaden turned one month, my mom came out for a visit. I was still healing from the c-section and Ron had to go back to work so she came out for the week to help me. It was great having her here. The kids absolutely loved it and got hugs and snuggles anytime they could. Usually Jaxen acts shy at first when ever we're around grandma and grandpa, but this time he was so excited to see her at the airport. It was so cute! The kids just couldn't get enough of her. Kaeryn and Tristan were happy that she stayed until the weekend was over so that they could see her for a few days also. It melted my heart when I looked over and saw all three boys snuggling with Grandma! Such a precious memory! I know they can't wait to see her again, nor can I! Love you MOM! Thanks for being such a wonderful Grandma!

HAPPY ONE MONTH BIRTHDAY JADEN!
On March 10th we celebrated Jaden's one month birthday. Wow! I can hardly believe it! It truly is amazing how fast this precious time goes. Jaden is a pretty good baby. He loves to eat, sleep, poop and his binky! He also loves to snuggle which is one of my favorite things to do as well. Ron was able to work from home until march 7th. It was so wonderful to have him home for about 5-6 weeks. This last week my mom came and stayed with me while Ron went back to work. I am so happy she came! It was so wonderful to have her here! We had fun going to the park and nature walks. She was a great help to me around the house as well. I'm still not supposed to do much yet. I am getting better and stronger each day.
Well, On Jaden's one month birthday we started the day out at the hospital. Nothing serious, we had to go back for his hearing screening. They did one after he was first born but one ear( I think it was his right ear) failed the test. They told me to not worry too much because it is not uncommon but they wanted us to come back when he was a month old to try again. They figure there might have been fluid still in his ear, this time he passed with flying colors! Everything looks normal! Yeah! That is a happy thing! After the appointment we came home and stayed in for the day. My mom snuggled with Jaden so that I could get some rest. Ron stopped and got ding dongs on his way home from work and we celebrated eating those. I did a lot of reflecting of the last month. We've deffinitely had our up and down moments as we've been adjusting to our new life. But It's been so wonderful to have our new little guy here with us. I love you Jaden! You have brought us so much joy and happiness!

More of Jaden
Dressed to come home! Ron choose his outfit. He couldn't resist the guitar sleeper! I made the hat. He looks so cute! We can't wait to bring him home!
Welcome home little one! Welcome home!
Welcome Baby Jaden!
He's here! He's here! February 10th, 2011 our little Jaden Glen arrived. Ron and I went to the hospital at 5:00 am and at 8:27 am he was born by c-section. Everything went smoothly. It was a wonderful moment to just be chatting with Ron and all of a sudden there is this baby cry and you know he's here at last. Yes, there were tears of joy that were shed at that moment. I couldn't stop looking at him in amazment and wonder. Here we had another beautiful baby boy and our lives were changing forever once again. Jaden weighed in at 8 pounds and 10 ounces and was 20 inches long. He has lots of dark hair and dark eyes. We love him so much and are so happy he is here! He was born at the Methodist hospital in Sacramento, CA. We stayed there until february 13th. I find it interesting that as much as you want to be home with your little one, the hospital and the staff become like family while your there and it feels a bit strange to all of a sudden get up and leave. The nurses were fantastic! They really helped me out when it came to the nursing part. Even though I had nursed Jaxen I found I was a bit rusty. The nurses were great in helping me with getting him to latch on when I needed it. We were able to nurse by the time we came home. I still had some concerns about it, but everyone kept reassuring me that all looked well and that he was doing fine. Ron was the best husband ever! He got up everytime Jaden did and stayed up with me and gave me so much support. He helped me to eat while the Jaden was in cluster feeding mood and I rarely had a chance to think for myself. He would rub my shoulders to help me to stay relaxed because I was so exhausted. He changed all the diapers so that I could rest a bit because getting up and down was still a little difficult for me. He is so wonderful! I know he feels like he doesn't do much to help, but he was more help than he will ever realize. I have to keep reminding him of that. He was so amazing! He even would take Jaden and snuggle with him so I could get some rest. Jaxen and Tristan came to see us in the hospital. Kaeryn was at her 6th grade outdoor ed at the time so she wouldn't get to see him until we came home from the hospital. The boys were so nervous, but they did see him and hold him. When Jaden cried Jaxen would rub his head. I tried to get Jaxen to snuggle with me but he was to nervous to do that. We had told him before that I would have an owy on my tummy and that he'd have to be careful. I wanted him to snuggle with me on the bed but he was to worried about that. Jaxen also tried to give Jaden some food when he cried because he was hungry. I had to explain to him that he only eats moms milk right now and that the food I eat will turn into the milk. Since then he'll give me something and say here you can have this to make more milk. It's very cute! Before Jaden was born Jaxen kept saying he was going to be the one to change the diapers, so when jaden needed a diaper change Jaxen really wanted to do it, we had to ask him to help daddy instead. Since then he hasn't wanted to help much with that but I still thought that was cute that he was serious at first about doing it.
My surgery went really well and my recovery has gone better than I expected. I was able to get up and walk the halls a few times and getting up to the bathroom was managable. But I had really great care that I contribute to that. I'm still in aw and amazment that he is finally here. We waited a long time for him and we are so happy to have our little Jaden be part of our family. Welcome baby Jaden! We love you very much! We can't wait to start making memories with you!

Special Jaxen hugs!
February 9th was a night for us to celebrate. We celebrated the ending of a chapter in our lives and welcoming a new begining. It was the night before our new baby would be born. Jaxen, Ron and I decided to go out to dinner to celebrate. We went to a resurant named B.J.'s Brewhouse. They have really yummy pizza there and that is what Jaxen decided he wanted to have. After dinner when the waitress came to see if we wanted any dessert Ron made a simple request. He asked if we could have the birthday dessert to celebrate the birth of our baby the next day. They thought was a cute request and was happy to do that for us. So they brought us a plate that had a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie(still in the little pan) with some vanilla ice cream on top. Jaxen blew out the candle. It was so yummy! Afterwards, we came home to get things ready for the night. I really wanted to get some pictures with Jaxen. I was going to really miss him in the next few days. We hugged and snuggled. Ron and Jaxen played their video games together. It was a good night. I had a lot of mixed emotions. I was nervous, happy, anxious, excited, full of wonder. What will life be like after today? Can I really do this again? So many thoughts racing through my mind. I know they will all be answered soon. I look forward to this new chapter in our lives. I have a wonderful husband who is so dilligent in helping me with whatever I need. I know he will be there with me all the way as we begin our new adventure. I'm sure we will have our ups and downs, moments of sadness and moments of joy. We'll have more smiles and giggles. And most of all we'll have eachother! I love you Ron! I love you Kaeryn! I love you Tristan! I love you Jaxen! And I love our new little baby. I am excited to meet him and begin this new stage in our life.

Happy New Year 2011!!!
Happy Happy happy New Year everyone! I know it's a bit behind schedule, but better late than never! We had a fun filled night full of games and noise and treats! Our neighbors lit some fireworks at midnight so that was fun to watch. We had our traditional 12 grapes and made wishes. Jaxen keeps asking if his wishes will come true. It's pretty cute.
Well, we did have a fun filled year. But I think the most exciting part of 2010 for us was finding out that we are going to add another addition to our family. We found out that we are having another boy! I can't wait for his arrival! We look forward to all the new adventures we will have this year with our new little guy! happy New year everyone! I hope 2011 will bring you all true joy and many smiles!
