The Saturday before Easter, Elk Grove city had a little egg-stravagansa! We took the kids for the egg hunt that was there. It was a lot smaller than we expected, last time there was a lot of venues. But the boys still had fun. Tristan and Jaxen were able to do the hunt together. It was cute to watch them help each other. Of course Jaden just slept through it except for when he woke up to eat. Luckily I found a picnic table where no one was sitting so I could nurse him. He did pretty good nursing in the park for the first time. With his tummy full he went back to sleep for a while so Tristan and Jaxen could play a couple games. Kaeryn was to old for the egg hunt so she got her face painted. There was only one artist there and the line was so long, but she really wanted her face painted so she was really patient and waited and waited and waited(literally). But It turned out really pretty. There was one booth that handed out frisbees to the boys. So Ron took Jaden and waited in line with Kaeryn and I took Tristan and Jaxen to the open field of the park and played frisbee with them. It was alot of fun! We had a great day!
