Meeting Santa!

December 18th, 2011 we took the kids to see Santa. It's a traditon in our family to pay Santa a visit each year. I love the magic it brings in our kids eyes! We go to this family owned farm in Lathrop, CA called Dell'Osso family farm. It's a great place. There's a play ground area and petting zoo and pony rides. In the winter they will make a sledding hill which seems really cool but they charge extra for that so we never do the sledding hill. They have a great little country store with items that they make on their farm plus, they invite Santa and a couple of his reindeer to come for a visit. I love how excited the kids get when they see Santa! It's one of my favorite things about the holidays. This being Jaden's first time made it extra special. It was so cute to watch him. He actually wasn't scared at all. He was more curious than anything. Jaden even reach up and grabbed a hold of Santa's beard and nearly pulled it off. It was so funny. After that he kept looking up at Santa trying to figure out what was going on.

The boys were very excited to see Santa! Jaxen for the second year in a row was not scared and actually talked with Santa. This is one of my favorite things about being a mom. I love seeing the boys so happy.

Tristan is asking Santa for a mario race track! I love that he still see's the magic of Santa.

Jaxen asked Santa for a remote control construction set which was different than the mario race track he had been talking about for the last several months. Hopefully he still loves his surprise!

This year Kaeryn had decided that she was too old to sit on Santa's lap. I tried to convince her that you are never too old for that. But she still wasn't sure she wanted to go. Then the photographer asked Kaeryn to come and sit for a minute. At first she didn't want to but the photographer was able to talk her into sitting for a photo. She still had fun even though she was really embarressed. I'm glad we were able to have these memories. After our visit with Santa we walked out to see the reindeer. They are such beautiful animals! Of course I forgot my camera. Next year I will remember to bring it. We still hade a wonderful night! Santa, reindeer and fudge! What could be better! Merry Christmas Everyone!
