Since we were going to be camping by a lake, we decided that we would get each of us our own life jacket. I'm so glad we did. The kids just loved being in the lake. It was so fun because we could wade in and then just float and jump into the waves. We even got Jaxen to come swimming with us just once. He had fun swimming back and forth to mommy and daddy but the water was a little to cold for him. So he enjoyed playing on the beach in the sand. It was perfect because we would come back to camp after spending time in yosemite and we could unwind and cool off in the lake.
