Our first day in Yosemite we headed toward the valley. We made this stop at an overlook just outside a tunnel. The view was breath taking. Even though it was hazed over by a prescribed burn, it was still breath taking. Ron got out his telescope and we got some good views of the waterfalls. It was so cool. I let Jaxen look through my binoculars and he was having so much fun. It was so cute to watch his expressions as he looked through the binoculars. He was so amazed at what he could see. He kept saying "Wow! I see far!" It was so cute. We gave Kaeryn an early birthday present and got her own pair of binoculars. That was something she had asked for.
After this stop we couldn't wait to get out there and see what we could see.

Wow - that does look beautiful! It's funny - I've never pictured California as having beautiful mountains, but apparently they do!
